Worked as lead illustrator for database company based in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. Was required to produced a high volume of images daily.

 

 

Cork Printmakers

Oct - Dec 2012

 

Completed a 2 month internship in the office of Cork Printmakers. Worked exclusively on the

21 Exhibition, helping to produce a 98 page full colour catalogue to accompany the show. Responsible for gathering and collating all the images and artists biographical details and was also the photographer on the opening night.

Spent 4 (rather fun) years at Galway - Mayo Institute of Technology, Co. Galway.

Firstly, I completed a 3 year course in Art & Design, the last 2 years specialising in printmaking. We went through most types of printmaking - screenprinting, lithography, etching, lino and woodcuts. I worked mainly in zinc and then copper plate etchings, as these are great for added fine details and line work. I then did an add on year, again specialising in printmaking, graduating in the summer of 2011.
